The registration process has also started. Candidates can apply through online mode. The application process started on 10th April 2024 and will continue until 30th April 2024. Candidates who have qualified in the written and practical parts of the final M.B.B.S. examination or are appearing for the final year are eligible to apply for the UPSC CMS exam.
Those who want to apply can do so from the official UPSC website, and those who have already completed OTR (one-time registration) can fill out their forms directly by logging in with their ID password.

How to Apply for UPSC CMS 2024 :-
- First of all visit the official website of UPSC at ‘upsconline.nic.in’.
- Find the UPSC CMS Application Form 2024’ link mentioned on the homepage.
- Complete the one-time registration (OTR) process by providing the necessary details such as name, mobile number, date of birth, nationality, gender, email ID, and others.
- After OTR registration, complete both parts of the UPSC CMS application form.

UPSC CMS 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The UPSC CMS 2024 eligibility criteria are described by the Union Public Services Commission. Candidates appearing for UPSC CMS 2024 exam must fulfill the eligibility criteria. Check the detailed eligibility criteria of UPSC CMS 2024 below.
Educational Qualification –
Candidates who are appearing for the CMS exam must have completed or appeared in the final year of the MBBS examination.
Nationality –
(a) a Citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the
intention of permanently settling in India.
(e) A person of Indian origin who has moved from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia), or Vietnam to settle in India permanently.
Candidates from these categories require a certificate of eligibility from the Indian government. They can take the exam but will receive appointment offers only after obtaining the eligibility certificate.
Age Limit –
Candidates must be not more than 32 years as on August 1, 2024. UPSC provides upper-age relaxation for candidates belonging to a certain category.

UPSC CMS 2024 Selection Process
The selection process for UPSC CMS has two phases: First, a written examination and a personality test. These stages are also known as Phase 1 and Phase 2 examination.
