Railway RPF Recruitment 2024, Constable and SI, 4660 Posts, Apply Here

The Railway Protection Force (RPF) released a notification for the recruitment of a sub-inspector and Constable on 15 April 2024. A total 4660 of vacancies are available, out of 4208 for Constables and 452 for Sub-Inspectors.

The recruitment process started on April 15, 2024, and will end by May 14, 2024. RPF Recruitment 2024 Apply Process:-

• Step 1 – First of all visit the Railway Protection Force’s official website at www.rpf.indianrailways.gov.in.
• Step 2 – Then Register yourself by providing your name, email address, contact data, etc. After that, you will receive a registration ID and password.
• Step 3 –  Use the registration ID and password to log in and fill out the application form with all the necessary information, like contact details, educational background and other information. 
• Step 4 – Now Scan the copies of your identification, signature, and any other required certification and upload those copies of documents. (Upload in the correct size and dimensions as mentioned in the notification)
• Step 5 – Pay the application fee with the available options and then review your application if there are any mistakes.
• Step 6 – At last submit your application and print out the copy.

Railway RPF Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Age limit

• Constables: Candidates must be between 18 to 25 years old.
• Sub-Inspectors (SI): Candidates must be between 20 to 25 years old.

Age Relaxation 

Education Qualification

• RPF Constable SI: Bachelor’s Degree in Any Stream from Any Recognized University in India.
• RPF Constable: Class 10th Matric Exam Passed from Any Recognized Board in India.

Physical Eligibility

RPF Recruitment 2024 Constable and SI Exam Pattern

1. RPF Constable and SI 2024 exam consists of 120 questions.
2. Each question carries one mark. There is also a negative marking of 1/3 mark for each incorrect answer.
3. Candidates will get 1 hour and 30 minutes (or 90 minutes) to complete their paper.

RPF Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

• Computer-Based Test (CBT): First Candidates will have to appear for a Computer-Based Test (CBT) to assess their knowledge and skills related to the job role. In the CBT there will be questions on various subjects like General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and General Science.
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates who qualify in the CBT will go to the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) to get their physical fitness. 
• Physical Measurement Test (PMT): All the candidates will need to give the Physical Measurement Test (PMT). 
• Document Verification: Candidates who successfully clear the CBT, PET, and PMT stages will be called for Document Verification. 
• Medical Examination: Finally, candidates who pass the Document Verification stage will be required to give the Medical Examination. 
• Final Selection: Based on the performance in all the above stages the final selection of candidates will be made.
