Candidates are hereby informed that NTA UGC NET June 2024 Online Form has announced the notification of the online registration process for the UGC NET June 2024 examination. The registration process has already started on 20th April. Candidates can apply through online mode. The application process started on 20th April 2024 and will continue until 10th May 2024.

Candidates who have qualified Master’s degree with minimum 55% marks are eligible to apply for the NTA UGC NET June 2024 Examination. Those who want to apply can do so from the official UGC website, and those who have already completed OTR (one-time registration) can fill out their forms directly by logging in with their ID password.

How to Apply for NTA UGC NET June 2024 Online Form

1. First of all visit the official website of UGC NET at https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in’.

2. Find the ‘UGC NET June 2024 Registration/ Login’ link mentioned on the “Latest News” section on the homepage.

3. Complete the one-time registration (OTR) process by providing the necessary details such as name, mobile number, date of birth, nationality, gender, email ID, and others.

4. After OTR registration, complete both parts of the UGC NET 2024 application form.

5. Then complete the part 1 section and after that complete part 2 section by filling out necessary details.

6. At last pay for the application fees and submit then download the form.

UGC NET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The NTA UGC NET June 2024  eligibility criteria are described by the Union Public Services Commission. Candidates appearing for NTA UGC NET June 2024  exam must fulfill the eligibility criteria. Check the detailed eligibility criteria of NTA UGC NET June 2024  below.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates who have completed Master’s or Post Graduation degree from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
• Reserved categories are granted for the relaxation of 5% in the educational qualification.
• Those candidates are exempted from appearing for the UGC NET exam who have successfully cleared the State Eligibility Test (SET) before June 1, 2002.

Nationality

(a) a Citizen of India, or

(b) a subject of Nepal, or

(c) a subject of Bhutan, or

(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the 

intention of permanently settling in India.

(e) A person of Indian origin who has moved from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia), or Vietnam to settle in India permanently. 

Candidates from these categories require a certificate of eligibility from the Indian government. They can take the exam but will receive appointment offers only after obtaining the eligibility certificate.

Age Limit

Candidates must be not more than 30 years as on August 1, 2024. For Assistant professor or lectureship there is no upper age limit. UGC provides upper-age relaxation for candidates belonging to SC/ST/Third gender/PwD/female applicants (up to 5 years) and OBC (Non-Creamy Layer). 

UGC NET 2024 Selection Process 

The selection process for NTA UGC NET June 2024  has two phases: First, a written examination and a personal interview. These stages are also known as Phase 1 and Phase 2 examination. UGC NET 2024 New Exam Pattern

According to UGC NET 2024 new exam pattern the exam will be conducted in pen and paper mode and not will be conducted in CBT mode. As per the new pattern, both papers contain multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Candidates have to complete both papers in a single duration of three hours.
