HPSC HCS Prelims Exam Pattern
The exam pattern of HPSC HCS Exam is given below in the table. Candidates who are going to give the HPSC HCS Exam should follow the exam pattern properly to solve the questions.
The HPSC HCS Prelims Exam is carried out offline and includes of objective multiple choice questions. The test includes two papers: the Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) and General Studies. The General Studies paper consists of 100 questions, each for one mark, and takes two hours in total. On the other hand, the CSAT, which is considered a qualifying exam, includes 100 questions for 100 points and the same amount of time. The General Studies Paper score decides the Prelims result, although a score of at least 33% is required to qualify for the CSAT paper. In both papers, a 0.25 deduction is applied for each incorrect answer.
