According to an official notice released on Monday, The WBBSE announced WBBSE Madhyamik Routine 2025, the Class 10 exams for 2025 will be held from February 12th to 24th. This is important news for students getting ready for these exams.
The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has prepared for the Class 10 exams, also known as Madhyamik Pariksha (SE), for 2025. Recently, the board unveiled important information about the exam timetable.

West Bengal Madhyamik Exam New Timings
The West Bengal board has changed the timing for the WBBSE Madhyamik routine exams. Initially, the exams were set from 11:45 am to 3 pm, but now they will be held from 9:45 am to 1 pm. Students need to double-check the timetable and exam timing. It’s recommended to arrive at the examination center at least 30 minutes before the exams start.

West Bengal Madhyamik Exam 2025 – Important Points
- Students will have an extra 15 minutes to read the question papers.
- Shorthand & Typewriting exams will only take place in Kolkata and Siliguri.
- The Sewing and Needlework exam will last for 4 hours and 15 minutes.
- Music Vocal & Music Instrumental theory exams will be 2 hours and 15 minutes long. The venue and date for the practical exam in these subjects will be announced later.
- The Computer Application Theory exam will be 2 hours and 45 minutes, with practical exams at individual schools.
- Vocational Subjects (under NSQF Project) exams will run for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Practicals of these subjects will be conducted by the Sector Skill Council or individual schools.
- Arrive at the exam center by 9:15 am to check your seating plan and avoid any last-minute issues.
- Start with questions you can answer quickly and accurately, then move on to tougher ones.
- Don’t spend too much time on any one question. Save harder questions for later.
- In the last minutes, review your answers to ensure they’re correct.
