Delhi Home Guard Recruitment 2024 Application Process

If you want to apply for Delhi Home Guard Recruitment 2024, you have to follow the following steps:

• First of all, you have to visit the official website of the Directorate General Home Guard www.homeguard.delhi.gov.in
• Then, you have to register yourself on Directorate General Home Guards (DGHG) enrolment portal i.e. http://dghgenrollment.in
• After this, a new page will open where you will have to enter your registration number and date of birth.
• Then, you will have to fill an online application form, in which you will have to provide your personal, educational and contact details.
• After this, you have to upload the scanned copy of your photo, signature and other documents.
• Then, you have to pay the application fee, which can be done both online or offline.
•  Finally, you have to submit your application form, and take a printout.

Delhi Home Guard Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

To apply for Delhi Home Guard Recruitment 2024, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Your age should be between 20 to 45 years as on 01 July 2024. Age relaxation will be given for reserved categories.
• You must have passed 12th class or equivalent from a recognized board.
• You must be a native of Delhi, or you must have a residence certificate of Delhi.

The selection process for Delhi Home Guard Recruitment 2024 will be in the following four stages:

• Preliminary Written Examination: In this you will have to give an objective type paper of 80 marks, in which questions will be asked from the following subjects:

Final Selection and Medical Examination: A merit list will be prepared based on your marks obtained in all the stages, and you will be called for a medical examination by the Medical Board in Govt. Hospitals of GNCT Delhi, on following Medical standards:

Eye sight Distant Vision	Normal-Both eyes should be 6/6. (OR) (1) Better eye with correction 6/6. (2) Worse eye vision 6/12(without correction). (OR) Both eyes should be 6/9.  Near Vision Normal – Both eyes should be JI (OR) Better eye with correction  JI and worse eye without correction JII (Free from color Blindness)
Hearing	Free from any disability
.Defects or deformity	Free from any defect or deformity of limbs.
Disease	Free from hernia, piles, respiratory disease, diabetes , or any other disease which will adversely affect the work as Home Guard.
Other	Should not be flat-footed or suffering from knocked knees, bowed legs and should not be overweight(BMI 18.5 to 29.9)

Delhi Home Guard Recruitment 2024 Exam Pattern

Following are the exam pattern and syllabus of Delhi Home Guard Recruitment 2024:

The time of the preliminary written examination will be 90 minutes, and 80 questions will be asked.
